About the speakers:

Joanna Swanson

Joanna is a wife, mother of four, and a graduate of Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX. In addition, she is a licenced minister, a prayer councilor, author, birth coach and model. Coming from a past of terrible disfunction and abuse, Joanna is passionate about women being set free to be whom they were made to be. With a testimony of God's redemption, Joanna brings encouragement to women of all ages with a message of hope and inner healing. Joanna currently lives in Garland, TX with her husband Keith and their four children.

Cheryl Ricker

Cheryl is a prize-winning poet who resides in southeast Minnesota with her husband and sons. Born and raised in Canada, Cheryl graduated from York University in Toronto with a degree in creative writing. Her passion to draw people closer to God led her to Christ for the Nations Institue, Dallas, where she ministered on the streets, on stage, and in prisons. Cheryl is passionate about helping hurting adults find hope and healing by experiencing Christ in a fresh, personal way. While visting a young mother with terminal cancer, Cheryl started writing comfort poetry that was turned into the life changing gift book, "A Friend in the Storm", recently published by Zondervan.

Keri Agrimson

Keri is the assistant dean of women at Christ for the Nations where she trains, councils, and ministers to women from all over the world. Keri's passion is to help young women discover whom they are in Christ and see them become all that He has created them to be!

Jessica LaFavor

Jessica has a passion for seeing God's purposes fulfilled in others. Her amazing testimony gives hope and inspires women to know the loving Savior's embrace. Jessica is the Cleansing Streams director for Southeastern Minnesota. She has also served in Celebrate Recovery as a small group leader and training coach. Jessica's business, Embracing Moments, is dedicated to bring love from God's heart to the life of women. As a certified Doula, Jessica offers birth coaching and consultation services. She also designs custom name plaques to bring out your identity in Christ as a true reflection of who you are. Her current endevors include doing jail ministry through Next Chapters Ministries and lay prayer counseling.
